Hot sauce makes me smile. Here are the seven types currently in the house:
Left to right…
Valentina: Not as hot as some of these others, though it still has a pretty good kick. Great with quesadillas or anything involving cheese. I also like it on burgers.
Frank’s RedHot: This stuff has a flavor and heat similar to Tabasco, though it has its own interesting qualities. Again, tasty on quesadillas.
Chipotle Tabasco: Smoky flavor. Pretty mild a far as the stuff I consume goes. Good on burgers.
Caribbean Jerk: Tastes like chicken (seriously!) and has a heavy kick when you swallow. Excellent on turkey or chicken sandwiches.
Spicy Garlic: Garlic with a kick! I have not tested this one on anything yet, though my hunch is that it ought to be dip-dip for oven fries. Homemade oven fries.
Mango Habanero: Love this stuff! Sweet and hot all in one convenient package. Best on burgers, sandwiches, or dip for lots of dip-worthy morsels.
Ortega Taco Sauce (the hot kind): Fairly wimpy compared to the rest of this list, but it’s good on burritos.
